Will the electorate
reject ...
In only eight days, the airwaves
will be empty of political verbiage. Hopefully, your ears and eyes
will find the silence greatly appreciated.
Will the electorate accept the
results if a significant delay in the count changes the outcome?
What might happen, if the
election results are significantly delayed.
The polls are suggesting that
the Republican party will gain control of both the House and Senate
and increase their control of state legislatures.
I submit that it really does not
matter which party is in control. Our voting system has way too many
loopholes and neither party really wants to address those loopholes.
With today's technology, the voter rolls could be cleaned up quickly
if both parties wanted to do so.
However, the real problem is
that the government bureaucracy has employees who basically can not
be terminated. At the moment, it is fair to state that the vast
majority of those governmental employees vote or lean to the
Democratic party. Just look at the voting records of precincts
near the nation's and/or state capitals if you want confirmation.
As a result, many requests
by Congress for information from the administration are simply
ignored on a timely-basis. The ability to hide information
with little or no consequence, i.e., the Hunter Biden laptop, the
Seth Rich murder and the Paul Pelosi hammer attack, remains intact.
It should be obvious that the
U.S. has become a place where we have a two-level justice system. It
may well take a major upheaval to address these problems.
One wonders if the electorate
will accept the outcome of these elections peacefully. I hope
so but remain doubtful.
